Whilst quite a few scientists, like Ernst Mach, Albert A. Michelson, Hendrik Lorentz, and Henri Poincare among Many others, contributed to what would in the end completely transform theoretical physics and astronomy, the scientist credited with compiling and describing the theory of relativity along with the Lorenz Transformation was Albert Einstei
